『富山プロダクトデザインコンペティション』の最終審査会

本日は『富山プロダクトデザインコンペティション』の最終審査会！写真は表彰式の様子です。『富山…』というタイトルですが、毎年若いデザイナーの登竜門として、日本全国から素晴らしい作品が寄せられ、公開審査されるこのコンペ！何より目玉となっているのは、受賞作品が商品化しやすいということ。 naftとはとっても縁が深く、2011年のグランプリであるcollinette、2012年の準グランプリのsolano（受賞時ku-sen）と、2年連続でnaftから発売させていただきました♪ 今年もどんな作品が入賞したのか楽しみですね。展示会は明日から7日まで

Today is the award ceremony of the Toyama Product Design Competition.

Even it is named ‘Toyama’, the competition is one of the most distinguished events in Japan.  As the awarded products tend to be commercialised swiftly, it is the great gateway to success for young designers. We have also collaborated with those designers. For example, our aluminium acupressure massager ‘collinette’ won the first prize in 2011, and self-standing fan ‘solano’ (aka ‘ku-sen’) won the second prize in 2012.

What kind of product won this year? Will some of them become naft product in the future?

The awarded products are displayed until 7th October.

高岡クラフト市場街

ナガエの本社がある高岡市は、高岡漆器、高岡銅器などの伝統産業が盛んな市です。それに関する様々なイベントが一年中あるのですが、10月3日から7日には「高岡クラフト市場街」が行われます。期間中、「ものづくり」に関する様々なワークショップや展示が行われ、高岡が「ものづくり」一色に染まります。

是非、高岡にお越しください。

Our office is located in Takaoka-shi, which is known for Japanese urushi lacquer, metal works and woodworks. The city has top-quality processing techniques, fro polishing to colouring.  all the skills required at each step can be found here. Under such a circumstance, we have many events related craftsmanship and design throughout the year.

From 3rd to 7th October, ‘Takaoka Craft Ichiba-machi’ is to be held. There are many activities related craftsmanship during the event.

Please come and enjoy the latest works as well as traditional ones.

東京国際ギフトショーに出展しました

東京国際ギフトショーに出展しました。

We took part in ‘Tokyo International Gift Show’ and were excited by many visitors. Thank you so much!

This time we introduced our Buddha figurines from ‘ginga-do’ collection as well as naft products. While our ‘naft’ line is in collaboration with up-and-coming designers and focus on modern home accessories, our ‘ginga-do’ collection supplies Japanese traditional products. It has recently launched new Buddha figurines with ‘Antique-looking finish’. Gold plating has been most frequently used. Besides, we suggest ‘Antique-looking finishing’ that give the surface distinguishing appearance and suitable for modern interior.

We are happy to inform you both of lines had a good response to visitors in the show.
